"I had such a rough time..."
I had such a rough time dealing with their replacement and repair support. My board started having issues, so I sent over every detail they asked for, thinking it would move things along. Instead, the replies took forever and barely helped at all. The repair updates kept getting pushed back, and I felt like I had to constantly chase them just to get any kind of answer. By the end, it really felt like once they had my money, I was on my own. Super frustrating and disappointing.

"Bluetooth keeps dropping mid-game"
The board itself is fun and I actually enjoy using it, but the Bluetooth keeps disconnecting in the middle of a game. It gets frustrating fast because I’m just trying to play, then suddenly I’m messing with reconnecting it again. Like, why is this so complicated?

I’ve had a good experience with the AI opponent overall. It’s genuinely fun to play against and offers a fair challenge most of the time. Every now and then it makes a move that feels a little strange, but nothing that ruins the game. It’s a solid option for practice when you don’t have anyone else around to play with.

"Setup was fine, but took a bit"
I set up my Square Off board and it was mostly easy, but it wasn’t exactly smooth. The app finally connect after a couple tries, and I had to restart it once, which was kind of annoying.
The instructions was simple enough, but a few steps could’ve been explained better. Once everything was done, it worked fine, so I’m not mad about it. Just wasn’t as quick as I thought it will be.

"I ordered this and got a tracking..."
I ordered this and got a tracking link quickly, but then it basically just sat there for days without any real updates. I reached out to support and only got vague answers that didn’t really help. At this point I still have no idea where my package is, and I’m starting to wish I hadn’t bought it...

"WiFi stays connected REALLY well"

The board works well for the most part, but the app seems to disconnect every now and then. Delivery also took a bit longer than I was expecting, maybe by a few days or so. Not perfect, but still decent overall.

"Fun online games with my board"
I’ve been playing online through Square Off Now, it’s been good. The moves sync up quickly, and it’s really easy to find a game, which I like. I did get a little lag one time, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, yeah, it’s been a fun experience.

"Arrived like they actually cared"
My order from squareoffnow.com showed up in really nice shape. The box was clean, no dents or weird damage, and everything inside was wrapped properly instead of just tossed in. Nothing had shifted around or arrived broken, which says enough about how they packed it. Overall, it got to me exactly how you’d hope, so no complaints here.

"Surprisingly solid, because apparently that’s rare now"
This board feels really sturdy and well made. The pieces have a nice bit of weight to them too, which is always a pleasant surprise in a world full of flimsy plastic everything. Definitely doesn’t have that cheap, toy-like feel.

"Not as reliable as I expected"
I thought this app was going to make games smoother, but I feel a bit misled. The board keeps losing connection way too often, and it gets really frustrating when it happens in the middle of a game

"Pretty good value overall..."
It’s not the cheapest board out there, but honestly... for the features and the build quality, it feels worth the price. Setup took me a little while to figure out, but I’m still happy with it overall. I’d probably give it 5 stars if the shipping had been faster.

"Looks okay, but not worth the wait"
The board looks decent enough, but it’s plain in person. I had to wait in a queue longer than I expected, which made it even more disappointing when it turned out to be just okay and not anything special.

"Squareoffnow looks decent, but it let me down"
I used squareoffnow a few times, and to be fair, it seems like it could be useful when it actually works. But it kept hanging or not loading trades properly, which got frustrating fast. For something meant to help with trading, staying stable feels like the bare minimum.

I reached out to support and waited days, but never got a real answer. Just the usual polished-sounding company talk that doesn’t actually solve anything. Frustrating when all you want is someone to reply properly.

I’ve been using the app on my phone and it works just fine. It’s easy to figure out, which I appreciate. Compared to a few similar apps I’ve tried, this one feels less cluttered and doesn’t make simple things harder than they need to be.

"Didn’t work with my chess app"
I tried using this with Chess.com, but it just wouldn’t work with it. I was expecting it to be straightforward, so that part was weird. Ended up not being useful for what I needed.
